Centralizing information is key to taking control and scaling donor management

Living in the forest, with real opportunities

Monte Adentro has been working for more than 10 years in El Impenetrable, Chaco, one of the most isolated and challenging regions in Argentina. Unlike many one-off intervention models, their approach is built on sustained presence in the territory and close collaboration with local communities. Through programs in education, health, infrastructure, vocational training, and community strengthening, the organization seeks to create conditions for families to thrive without having to migrate. Today they work in more than 30 rural settlements, supporting hundreds of families and more than 500 children and young people every year, with a clear goal: living in the forest should not mean giving up quality of life.

Problem

The complexity of growing amid disorder

A person's hands weaving

As Monte Adentro consolidated its donor base and diversified funding sources, information management became increasingly complex.

The team worked with different intake channels (general donors, sponsors, one-off campaigns) and tools that were not always integrated. This made it difficult to maintain a clear, up-to-date view of each donor and their contributions.

In an operation where every contribution is critical to sustaining fieldwork, the lack of traceability and order in the information started to generate friction in daily management.

This translated into specific challenges:

  • Duplicated information spread across multiple tools
  • Difficulty accessing traceability and contribution history for each donor
  • Manual follow-up and control processes

Solution

From dispersion to operational order

To organize operations and improve donor base management, Monte Adentro moved forward with centralizing information and automating key processes together with Debi.

The implementation made it possible to unify data from all donors into a single system and simplify contribution tracking, reducing dependence on manual tasks.

As a result, the team was able to:

  • Centralize complete information for each donor
  • Automate recurring donation processing
  • Simplify donation and payment status follow-up
  • Reduce the team's operational workload

This shift marked a turning point in management, moving from fragmented operations to a clearer and more organized system.

Result

A system that enables decision-making

With a centralized information base and better-organized processes, Monte Adentro significantly improved how it manages donors and contributions. Optimizing operations not only reduced manual work, but also enabled clearer decision-making and supported the organization's growth on a stronger foundation.
